SmartStream Nabs Data, Tech Finance Exec Bowler from Asset Control

Officials say the data technology finance vet will be an "integral part of the management structure" that will deliver on SmartStream's growth plans.

Bowler joins SmartStream from enterprise data management platform vendor Asset Control, where he also served as CFO, prior to which he was a consultant at Ullink, and spent almost five years as CFO for Europe and Asia at NYSE Technologies, which he joined as a result of NYSE’s acquisition of FIX engine vendor Nyfix, where he was finance director. Before that, he was finance director at BT, where he spent seven years.

Based in London, Bowler reports to SmartStream chief executive Haytham
