Both hope to offer larger regulatory compliance solutions to clients.

Via the partnership, IPC clients can now record, index, and archive all Skype for Business activities from instant messaging, voice and video calls, screen sharing, and file transfers to meet regulatory reporting standards.

IPC senior vice president of risk and compliance Lionel Grosclaude said the partnership is part of a larger push by the firm to broaden its compliance position.

"The ability to capture, archive, and analyze various types of communications media via a truly integrated information governance solution will be a competitive advantage for financial service firms seeking to deal with regulatory requirements efficiently," Grosclaude said.

The solution, available both on systems on the premises and in the cloud, is a unified, easy-to-use platform that can be accessed anywhere.

IPC is beefing up its compliance and security offerings to clients. In August last year, the vendor partnered with UK-based cybersecurity firm Post-Quantum to integrate biometric, encryption and blockchain technologies to protect data through IPC's Connexus Cloud.
