Yasuki Okai to Lead NRI Expansion in North America

The longtime NRI staffer will head up Japanese firm's push to grow in North America.

Yasuki Okai has been tasked with leading NRI's growth in North America and will be based in New York.

Nomura Research Institute (NRI) recently named Yasuki Okai the president of Nomura Research Institute Holdings America (NRI Holdings America) in an effort to bolster NRI's global expansion in North America.

Okai's move to New York, where he will be based, marks the first time one of NRI's senior-level executives has been relocated from Japan to one of its subsidiaries abroad.
