Erste Group Taps Orc Electronic Execution solution

Banking giant to use FIX Access connectivity

vienna
Based in Vienna, Erste Group Bank is one of the largest financial services providers in Central and Eastern Europe.

Orc Electronic Execution platform, which includes Orc FIX Access connectivity product, will help the bank reducing the cost of ownership and the complexity of its infrastructure.

Orc FIX Access allows any FIX-enabled trading system to use Orc's native exchange gateways for reaching its global execution venues covering all major asset classes. It will also improve its legacy market access gateways, such as its institutional order routing system, which have been migrated to the new Orc infrastructure.

"We were pleased to recognize how Orc's consolidated trading and connectivity offerings meet both our present requirements and future plans," says Marcus Hemetek, head of organization global capital markets at Erste Group. "We appreciate Orc's product roadmap, and are very impressed with the quality and skill of Orc's services offering, which we will utilize for a number of critical development efforts."
