Deutsche Bank Appoints Massion as Japan GTB Chief

The German bank is present in 16 markets in the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan.

Massion will oversee the bank's transaction banking business in Japan across its financial institution and corporate client segments.

He will be based in Tokyo and will report directly to Makoto Kuwahara, chief country officer in Japan, as well as to Lisa Robins, the head of GTB for the Asia Pacific region, regarding his role as head of GTB for Japan, and to Kaushik Shaparia, the head of trade finance and CMC for APAC in his position as head of trade finance and CMC.

He previously worked for Deutsche Bank for over 14 years where he has held several senior positions in Japan, Taiwan, India Singapore and the US. More recently, Massion was managing director and head of transaction banking for Japan at Standard Chartered bank.
