Waters Rankings 2014: Best Execution Management System Provider — Eze Software Group
According to Keller, Eze has recently extended is transaction-cost analysis (TCA) functionality deeper into multi-broker workflows with improved trading analytics and execution charts, in addition to the introduction of “Strategy Server,” which simplifies the trading workflows for complex options, spread, and pairs strategies. Another recent addition is Market Data on Demand, which charges clients for actual data use rather than simply for data access, which has appealed greatly to the buy side.
“Enhancing cross-product integration and establishing new workflows across the product suite has been an important focus for us,” Keller says. “We recently integrated Eze OMS compliance checks into RealTick EMS, enabling users to run broker-level checks in the EMS on orders staged from Eze OMS. This is an exciting enhancement and the first step in a longer-term integration due out later this year that will enable EMS users to run robust pre-trade compliance checks powered by Eze Compliance.”
Keller says that customers are looking at lower trade volumes and commission revenues, so they need to find ways to cut costs and find new areas to generate alpha. This has led Eze down the path of providing a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model for much of its architecture, and on-demand offerings, such as Market Data on Demand.
“Through advanced trade analytics and features like real-time intra-trade TCA, we are helping our customers to trade more profitably,” he says.
