Steve Randich, chief information officer of the US Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (Finra), a self-funded regulatory organization tasked with overseeing US brokers, explained how it is changing its approach to regulation, with the launch of a redesigned risk management platform, an automated risk data system and a consolidated audit trail, during his keynote address at the North American Financial Information Summit in New York this week.
