HSBC Exec: Entities Without LEIs May Face Trading Restrictions in Europe
Banks and brokers may not allow market participants to trade exchange-traded futures and options or over-the-counter derivatives in Europe after February 12 if they do not have a legal entity identifier (LEI), a senior data executive at HSBC has warned.
