Aviat Networks, a wireless hardware and service lifecycle provider, signed up its first financial customer in late 2010. Business began picking up near the end of 2012 and into 2013. Aviat’s experience echoes that of others in the wireless industry, who have received more calls from financial institutions over the last six to 12 months than at any time in the past. This phenomenon would make more sense if Aviat was a new company, instead of a 60-year-old one, which it is.
