Mootwin has its headquarters in California, with other locations for specific departments spread through Europe.

Mootwin will use the data generated from the CEP in order to enhance its real-time alert system for mobile devices, linked to trading opportunities and pre-set parameters. The analytics technology also includes visualization tools for display.

"The ability to access information and act upon it in real time is a critical competitive factor," says Claude Lemardeley, CEO at Mootwin. "The Mobile Application Platform and its turnkey financial business apps are the only technologies that enable customers to quickly develop mobile appl applications with context-aware, real-time information, and we feel that Progress Software's Apama solution is an excellent way to support continued advancement of these real-time features."
