Data Agent is headquartered in Berkeley, California

Data Agent is joining forces with Advent Software to produce a Form PF solution, which will be called Data Agent Form PF. Fund administrator Butterfield Fulcrum, has announced that it is installing the solution and will pull data from its Advent's portfolio management platform Geneva into the Form PF solution in order to reduce client preparation and filing time.

"To accurately complete Form PF, firms must not only gather significant amounts of data from multiple systems and make numerous calculations, but also aggregate specific data and transform it into an XML format for submission to FINRA, all within tight reporting deadlines," says Chris Mulhern, chief operating officer and president of Butterfield Fulcrum. "We've been using Advent's Geneva for many years and are impressed with their commitment to addressing Form PF. The combination of Data Agent's financial technology software and Advent's market leading general ledger software has resulted in an institutional quality Form PF software solution that is superior to others in the market."

Data Agent Form PF can be installed onsite or as a standalone product via a software-as-a-service model. It provides data aggregation, workflow management and collobaration tools that allow clients to verify information.

The first filing date is August 29. Registered investment advisors (RIAs) with regulatory assets under management of more than $5 billion will be the first to submit their Form PF filings to Finra.
