Ativa, a broker based in Brazil, announced it is live with trading solutions provider Ullink's UL Bridge platform, an end-to-end solution for trading equities and futures in Latin America.

Through UL Bridge, Ativa now has market access to BM&FBovespa's equities and derivatives markets via FIX. Ativa has also selected Ullink's pre-trade risk and direct market access (DMA) monitoring software, which offers customized risk controls and allows users to view the real-time positions of the clients, according to the vendor.

"Our new low latency infrastructure and customizable, front-end features for supervising our entire DMA flow are two of the main reasons why we chose ULLINK as our technology partner for driving growth within our business," says Alexandre Goldemberg, electronic trading manager at Altiva.
