Stockholm-based Cinnober provides real-time surveillance technology to the Qatar Exchange.

Qatar Exchange has rolled out a real-time market-monitoring system from Sweden-based technology supplier, Cinnober, in an attempt to provide a transparent and fair market for traders.

Scila Surveillance has been integrated with the exchange's engine to provide real-time alerts of abnormal market behavior.

"The implementation of the Scila Surveillance system is another milestone in the development of Qatar Exchange," says Jassim Bukashisha, IT director of the exchange. "It allows the exchange to fully monitor the market, guarantee transparency and fairness in the marketplace, and increase investors' trust and confidence when trading."
