Thomson Reuters Governance, Risk and Compliance has announced the launch of Accelus Compliance Manager, a platform to track and monitor global regulatory reform.

Accelus tracks information from over 230 regulators and exchanges, allowing for notification of new regulatory measures and responding to audits. It follows a survey by the company that identified issues inside compliance departments, centering on continued upkeep with sweeping global change in market oversight.

"The compliance manager's workflow has reached saturation point. Our customers are hit with thousands of regulatory developments each year and traditional manual approaches are no longer viable," says Andrew Neblett, SVP for compliance, audit and risk at Thomson Reuters Governance, Risk and Compliance. "Budget constraints also mean departments are continually being squeezed to do more with less. Accelus Compliance Manager will help them support the oversight and operation of their enterprise-wide compliance programs across the business, and deliver improvements in corporate governance, regulatory compliance and the ability to achieve their business objectives faster."
