Luxembourg Investment Solutions Partners with Butterfield Fulcrum
Independent fund services provider Butterfield Fulcrum and Ucits-licensed management company Luxembourg Investment Solutions (LIS) have signed an agreement to provide a suite of management company and fund administration services in Luxembourg.
The relationship allows non-European fund initiators to launch Luxembourg-domiciled funds with a single point of contact for fund administration and corporate secretarial needs.
According to Butterfield Fulcrum, this partnership will help investment managers, institutional investors and family offices realize their investment ideas through a plug-and-play solution.
Butterfield Fulcrum will now offer the setup and administration of the complete range of fund structures available in Luxembourg from SIF to Ucits, leveraging the firm's front-, middle- and back-office systems.
Through this partnership with LIS, the fund manager can swiftly set up customized regulated fund structures with full coordination between the Luxembourg financial supervisory company, CSSF, legal advisors, tax specialists, custodians and other Luxembourg-based entities.
Tim Thornton, managing director, global client delivery, says bringing together the jurisdictional and product expertise of LIS and the operational infrastructure of Butterfield Fulcrum has allowed them to create an offering that encompasses every aspect, from design and setup to complete reporting and administration services, for managers wishing to establish a European onshore structure.
