Nasdaq OMX to Buy FTEN

Nasdaq OMX today announced its intention to acquire real-time risk management platform provider FTEN. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"FTEN's customer base is comprised of some of the leading broker-dealers in the global markets, and its offerings are most comprehensive in terms of functionality, asset class and market spread," says Eric Noll, executive vice president of transaction services at Nasdaq OMX, in a statement. "As part of Nasdaq OMX, FTEN will be able to increase its penetration
