GL Clients Hit by Liffe API Glitch

LONDON--A software glitch that cut off some firms’ connectivity to the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (Liffe) late last month appears to have affected mostly clients of GL Trade, the Paris-based provider of data display and trading technology, sources say.

While most of the independent software vendors (ISVs) providing Liffe connectivity say their clients did not experience problems, a source familiar with the situation says that the problems began when the exchange
