SuperMontage Deferred, but ADF is a Go

NEW YORK--Nasdaq’s SuperMontage, the much-anticipated $100 million trading system three years in the making, will not launch this week as expected, but instead will get a hearing before the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Aug. 12.

However, there will be a test launch on July 29, its anticipated launch date, with 32 test stocks, Nasdaq officials say.

In the meantime, the SEC approved last week the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD)’s operation of the Alternative Display
