FX Brokers In India Challenge Reuters, Say Dealing 2000-2 Is A Broking System

BOMBAY--Reuters has hit a few snags in its attempt to launch its Dealing 2000-2 system in India.

The voice brokers there want Reuters to declare its spot foreign exchange electronic trading system a mechanism for broking, not just a matching system. They also want Reuters to play by the same rules as they have had to, which includes charging customers fixed fees on a per transaction basis rather than a flat, monthly fee.
