Crosby Securities Embarks On 3-Yr IT Plan To Streamline Order, Information Flow

Hong Kong-based Crosby Securities has embarked on a three-year IT plan to replace its collection of mainly host-based legacy systems with an integrated client/server-based system. The strategic plan, called Project Asia 2000, puts a heavy emphasis on client order management and is designed to satisfy Crosby's ambition to pull ahead of other securities firms in Asia in its use of information technology. To implement the plan, the firm will increase its own IT staff by half and draw on systems
