MORSTATT JOINS TABB GROUP
Financial technology market researcher Tabb Group has appointed FIX pioneer Christopher Morstatt as partner and a principal for the global securities practice, officials say. Morstatt, who most recently held the position of principal at merchant bank Thomas Weisel Partners, was the co-author of the FIX protocol during his tenure at Salomon Brothers from 1990 to 1997. While at Salomon, Morstatt worked with Fidelity Management and Research Co. to develop the FIX protocol
