Australian telecommunications vendor Saturn Global Network Inc. (SGN), a wholly owned subsidiary of money broker M. W. Marshall & Co., launched its North American operations by opening an office in New York City Nov. 17. A vendor of alternatives to proprietary corporate networks, Saturn is now turning its attention to providing network services to financial services operations in New York -- including locally based interdealer-brokers, some of which are competitors of its parent.
