As Smith Barney Inc. continues its massive rollout of Reuters' Triarch 2000 digital data distribution system in support of its traders in New York, word has emerged that the so-called Travtech unit has been dissolved. Travtech was the corporate entity Smith Barney parent Travelers Inc. formed last spring to handle voice and data communications services for its entire family of financial companies (TST, June 13, 1994).
