CISCO Fleshes Out Its VoIP Product Line; Ten New Products Introduced

SAN JOSE, CALIF.--In the latest move to beef up its IP Telephony offerings for large firms, Cisco last week unveiled 10 products as part of its Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data (Avvid).

The new solutions include: Cisco Call Manager 3.0, for IP call processing; the Cisco 7960 and 7910 IP Phones; the Cisco Media Convergence Server (MCS 7835), developed for high volumes of calls; gateway interface cards--one analog and two digital--for the Catalyst 6000 line of switches; and a 48
