Chicago's Kemper Moves 250 Traders To New Site; 75 To Get Act Citydesk

Kemper Securities Group Inc. in Chicago is installing ACT Financial PLC's Citydesk II data distribution system at 75 positions at its new trading room in Chicago. The system, which will run on Compaq Computer Corp. 486-based microprocessors running DOS and Windows, will be the first North American implementation of Citydesk.

Kemper is installing the new floor in advance of its July 1 relocation. At that time, the firm will move its headquarters from 333 West Wacker Drive to 77 West Wacker Drive

CME: CFTC OKs clearing move to Google Cloud

The CFTC has given the Chicago-based exchange approval to run its clearing and settlement infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform, while the exchange and vendor have extended their partnership to last until at least 2037.
