EBS, Hotspot Get More Algorithmic Links

NEW YORK—Algorithmic trading is making another inroad into foreign exchange (FX) transactions with the news that the algorithmic software unit of Progress Software is offering connectivity to spot broker EBS and the HotspotFXi transaction venue.

The formerly named Apama, now owned by Progress, officially released a suite of adaptors to EBS and HotspotFXi last week that will allow user firms to build links from the Apama core engine. Hotspot has similar arrangements with Portware, Trading
