HKEx Seeks Single Front End For Two Markets

HONG KONG--Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEx) is preparing to buy a new trading front end from a software vendor this year for its equity and derivatives markets, officials at the exchange confirm. The aim is to increase exchange volumes by enabling traders’ easy access to new markets from a single screen.

The project, if successful, would provide a single trading front end for the exchange’s equity and derivatives products. The screen would also allow access to other cash and derivative
