ITG Taps TimesTen for Program Trading

NEW YORK--Electronic agency broker Investment Technology Group (ITG) has completed initial installations of its Triton system for list and program trading, slated to succeed the older QuantEx platform by the end of 2004.
Best known for its Posit block-order crossing system, ITG has based Triton on the Microsoft Windows operating system and uses real-time event processing software from TimesTen of Mountain View, Calif., says Mark Wright, managing director, direct access and consulting services
