SunGard and Citigroup have partnered to allow customers of SunGard's Decalog order management system (OMS) to access proprietary algorithmic trading strategies from the Citigroup Corporate and Investment Banking unit. Traders can access algorithmic strategies directly from the Decalog OMS blotter without the need for software upgrades, giving them access to new trading strategies as soon as Citigroup publishes them, SunGard officials say.
