THOMSON’S BETA BUYS MIS
Thomson Financial has acquired the assets of London-based MIS Banking Systems and its affiliates. The acquisition was sponsored by Beta Systems, the Wisconsin-based securities processing division of Thomson Financial. For Thomson, the acquisition offers an international institutional trading, clearing and settlement system, and it allows the firm to gain the intellectual property rights to MIS’ flagship product, Capital. Capital supports fixed income and equities
