Deutsche Borse To Trade After Hours Starting In April 2000

FRANKFURT, GERMANY--Deutsche Bourse unveiled plans last month for the fourth version of its Xetra trading system, known as 4.0, and the second in a year. At an October 21 press conference, Dr. Reto Francoin of Eurex's board of directors said that the core components for preparation for after-hours trading were in place, including a capability for trading warrants. Some 9000 warrants are expected to be listed. Xetra is expected at this time to be the joint European market model when release 4.0
