CoreFIX Launches After OrderRouter Shuts Down
CONNECTIVITY
HONG KONG--The CoreFIX Network Order Routing Service, a joint effort of San Francisco-based vendor CoreFIX, Australian communications provider Telstra, and Hewlett-Packard, launched last Thursday.
CoreFIX is currently certifying three brokers and one fund manager in Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, and the US. Trading is to begin in April, says Bennet Harvey, CEO of CoreFIX. Europe will be switched on later in 2003.
Meanwhile, OrderRouter.net, launched last July (TTW, July 8, 2002), has shut down
