MONTRÉAL EXCHANGE SUPPORTS FIX GATEWAY

Officials from Trading Technologies (TT) and the Montréal Exchange (MX) announced that MX will connect to TT’s X_Trader order entry platform by the fourth quarter of this year. TT’s FIX Gateway—which exploits the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol—will serve as the connector. The Montréal Exchange is the first exchange to connect to TT’s FIX Gateway, which will allow exchanges, investment banks and other organizations to link trading
