Bankers Trust has taken steps that could prefigure its replacing its internally developed Bidds digital data distribution system. BT last month issued a request-for-information document. In the RFI, the bank asks vendors to be "as forward thinking as possible" and suggests the end solution will lean heavily on Windows NT operating system running on Pentium or Alphas. BT is one of the very few remaining firms to have a home-grown market data delivery system deployed globally.
