Nasdaq Japan Seeks Alternatives To Osaka Exchange

TOKYO--Nasdaq Japan (NJ) is having problems with its Japanese operator and regulator, the Osaka Stock Exchange (OSE), whose traders are reluctant to use Nasdaq Japan’s new electronic trading system.

Before Nasdaq launched in Japan in June 2000, it signed a business cooperation agreement with the OSE.
