Having declined to endure Digital Equipment Corp.'s struggle to migrate DECtrade to UNIX, the firm has now opted to avoid going through a similar period of instability with Micrognosis Inc., which last summer took over support of the bank's more-than-a-year-old FD Consulting Inc. digital data distribution platform (TST, July 26, 1993).
