Following in the footsteps of U.K. prime minister Margaret Thatcher, Reuters Holdings PLC chief executive officer and managing director Glen Renfrew has decided to step down. Reuters announced that he will retire next March 1. He is 62 years old and has been with the company for almost 39 years. Reuters says he will be succeeded by Peter Job, managing director of Reuters Asia.
As expected, Digital Equipment Corp. demonstrated a prototype of DECtrade running under Ultrix, DEC's version of UNIX
