Reuters Plans Buy-Side to Sell-Side Line of Attack for Bridge Integration

LONDON--Reuters’ European plans to integrate its Bridge Information Systems assets include focusing on putting together Reuters’ sell-side customer and product base with Bridge’s buy-side lines.
Sources close to Reuters say the main idea is to integrate Bridge’s Institutional Order Entry (IOE) system with the Reuters Intertrade Direct (RITD) interbank/broker trading system. Reuters Intertrade Direct provides the sell-side connectivity; it is used by brokers that trade on over 60 exchanges
