EDX TO USE FPML
EDX London, the equity derivatives joint venture between the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and OM, will be using the Financial Products Markup Language (FpML) to build an over-the-counter (OTC) matching service, say sources familiar with the project. The project will be introduced in Q1 2004, confirms an EDX spokesperson, who adds, "We are currently finalizing our plans in consultation with market participants, our technology providers and other interested parties."
