ENRON VET QUITS UBS

Webb, a managing director for fixed-income rates and currencies derivatives IT at UBS, has resigned, officials confirm. There is no word yet on Webb’s replacement. Webb joined UBS when it purchased Enron’s energy trading business (TTW, Feb. 18, 2002). There was speculation at the time that UBS would try to use Enron Online’s technology to trade other financial products, such as derivatives. At Enron, Webb was director of energy trading systems, and built an energyOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
