Shearson Makes A Case For Automated Systems Planning

Despite controversy over the viability of Computer Aided Software Engineering systems, Shearson Lehman Hutton Inc. has quickly moved to implement a CASE program that will be used across its systems platform.

"We are integrating various products and various vendors into CASE workbenches," says Ira Morrow, vice president of the technology planning group at Shearson. The CASE research has been going on for approximately a year, and there are currently four upper (new development) CASE projects
