Lehman Readies New Room In Singapore, Fills With Suns, X-Terms, Teknekron

DEALING ROOM SYSTEMS

Lehman Brothers is poised to go live in a much larger--and much upgraded--dealing room in Singapore. With cutover planned for Easter weekend, the firm is installing a 50-position Teknekron Software Systems Inc. digital data distribution system linking Sun Microsystems Inc. workstations, X terminals and Microsoft Corp. Windows-based PCs. Lehman currently maintains a much smaller room in Singapore--less than a dozen positions--outfitted with standalone terminals.
