Dow Jones Telerate Extends Consulting Business To N.A.

Dow Jones Telerate has launched a consulting unit in North America similar to the one it started in Asia Pacific last year (Dealing & Investment Systems, June 19, 1995). The group's mandate is to cater to trading firms using digital data distribution systems, be they Telerate's or a competitor's. Telerate's reason for getting into the consulting business, says director Neil Cowit, is to offer custom solutions for smaller trading firms that lack the internal IT know-how, as well as larger firms
