EBS Plans June Launch, Lagging Minex Rollout
PROPRIETARY EXECUTION
It looks like Minex will beat EBS out of the starting gate by several months. Despite earlier talk that the Electronic Broking Services would launch its foreign exchange order- matching system before rival Minex Corp., EBS member banks are not scheduled to go live until June. In addition, nonmember banks may have to wait several more months beyond that before they can come aboard, sources involved in the project say.
According to EBS chairman Peter Bartko, EBS is planning to start beta testing
