SunGard Uses .NET for FX Tool

NEW ORLEANS--SunGard Global Markets, a unit of SunGard Trading Systems, is creating an electronic trading platform for foreign exchange and precious metals, based on Microsoft's .NET platform and its C# programming language.
The FX platform is intended for firms that conduct arbitrage trading in FX and metals that generally have 30 or fewer traders, says Jim Davis, president of Global Markets.
