New Archipelago CTO Oversees Data Center Build

CHICAGO--Archipelago, under the direction of its new CTO, Steve Rubinow (TTW, Aug. 6), is building two fully redundant data centers in preparation for its transition from ECN to exchange.

Archipelago expects to receive approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission in the fourth quarter, says Rubinow. He also expects that the new data centers will be operational by that time.
