After All These Years, Bankers Trust Shops For Video Switch To Supplement Bidds In N.Y.

To supplement the internally developed digital data distribution system that currently supports its 2,500 traders worldwide, Bankers Trust Co. is evaluating video switches from the likes of Micrognosis Inc., Reuters and Tradetech Americas Inc., among other vendors. The bank requires the switch to supply interdealer-broker pricing data to some 200 traders in its New York City offices.
Bankers Trust officials decline to comment. But according to a source at the bank, Bankers is currently evaluating
