Broker Gets Smart Routing via FlexTrade

NEW YORK—New York brokerage Stuart Frankel & Co. persuaded FlexTrade Systems to develop a configurable smart router for single-stock and block executions, say officials from both companies.
The firm has incorporated FlexTrade's smart order routing capabilities, now available to all, into its program trading algorithms in a bid to make its execution of lists more effective, and to foster a single environment to execute block orders and lists, say Stuart Frankel officials.
