Euronext Pushes Switch System as Liffe Connect Overhaul Looms

AMSTERDAM--Officials at pan-European exchange Euronext have dismissed suggestions that the future adoption of the Liffe Connect system for Euronext Amsterdam’s derivatives market is discouraging trading firms from connecting to Amsterdam’s Switch electronic platform.

To encourage Switch usage, Euronext officials have begun offering lower-cost, cross-market access intended to make firms’ migration to Liffe Connect in Amsterdam easier. The offer gives users the connections they will need to trade
