UBS Uses KX Systems' K Platform To Build New CMO Trading System
OUTSIDE THE REGION
Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) has gone live with a new collateralized mortgage obligation (CMO) trading application developed using K, a mathematical programming environment developed by California-based Kx Systems.
The CMO system is the latest in a series of proprietary fixed income applications built by UBS using the K development platform. Kx Systems, which is five per cent owned by UBS, now plans to market K to other financial institutions.
